Episode 001 — Inauguration Day [35:58m]: <a href=”#” onclick=“javascript: podPressShowHidePlayer(‘1’,‘http://u2log.lemonproductions.ca/wp/podpress_trac/play/3/0/U2logep001.mp3” ‚300,30,‘true’); return false;”>Play Now | Play in Popup | DownloadWe review the new album, chat about U2.com site redesign and membership (and their frickin splash page?!?!?), live vs. album versions of songs, singles selection, promoting U2 music, ticket purchasing, iTunes pricing structure, and ask for your feedback/comments/suggestions.
As mentioned in the podcast, we’re looking for your help with the podcast. Here’s a few ways you could help out:
- Send us some album art for each episode. We love the U2log.com logo and we’ll probably keep that incorporated somewhere, but if you can design a 600px x 600px image that would rock the boat for an episode, send it in!
- Do you have a cover of a U2 song you’ve done? Or a remix of your favorite song that you did? We’re looking for help for our outro/ending music and we’d love to use some fan’s creations/tributes to end our podcast. Send us a link to your song somewhere on the web or try out our Soundcloud dropbox (though we’re not sure how long that will work before we have to pay real money for that — we’re cheap!)

Our guy won???? You completely alienated me within 2 minutes of the podcast. It’s people like you that don’t think conservatives are good people and that we don’t listen to U2. We do. I don’t appreciate you taking political sides on something about music. I didn’t have the desire to listen after your gloating over Barack Obama. I like Barry too, but this isn’t about politics, it’s about the music. So, I’ll listen one more time, but I would hope you will keep American politics out of this. Now if you will excuse me I have a tea party to attend later today. God bless, and great job with the U2log.com anyway.
@Joey — Thanks for the comment. I can’t speak for Christopher, but I can say that politics definitely won’t be the focus of the podcast. I think Christopher was joking, referring to me being a Canadian and that the American candidate won. Poor joke or poor delivery of said joke, but not an attempt to be political, especially on our first podcast. Like U2, we’ll wait until our second or third podcast to really hit you with the politics.. and religion. Just wait until you hear what we have to say about religion, and your lack of it!
Thanks again for the feedback and constructive criticism and for taking the time to listen to the podcast. See you on episode two!
Nice work gentlemen. Looking forward to hearing more from you two about U2!
@TC — Thanks for listening!
